Job Title: Shoe Designer

Job Description:

The applicant should be a Factory Head and have Capable of handling all the activities of the Unit.
He should have good Technical Qualification & Experience in Shoe Industry and should be responsible to implement all quality norms and system across the production activity and to standardize the quality procedure, processes and system into all the manufacturing plant.  Well versed with all the modern quality norms & pillars. Should be responsible to handle customer complaints & resolve the issues from ground level. Critically inspect & evaluate the Products right from the Initial Stage, i.e., Raw Material till the Final Stage, i.e., Finished Goods with attention to minutest details in the and also provide expert guidance and support till delivery. Should be very well versed with the movement of parts , the assembling/closing system , time and motion analysis, quality of product line etc and be able to control the related processes e.g. - timely receipt of inventory , quality systems , maintenance etc. He should keep record of all out going goods in terms of Quality & Timely commitment. Ensure no losses & wastage of company’s production material & assets. He performs quality Inspection of incoming materials as per set norms thereby improving the quality and consistency.

Possess strong communication skills in order to correspond on a daily basis to internal parties including Production, Merchandising, and Design and outside counterparts.
Coordinate all aspects of Product Development in order to meet all milestones in accordance with the corporate calendar. Responsible for control and organization of all Design Keep samples, design boards and all approval submits. Responsible for updating all stats and ensuring that all scans and modeling are completed and correct. This person is responsible for the professional timely production. Management, training and pacing the production staff is a daily responsibility.

The applicant should be a passionate designer with high creativity and originality. He should have good experience in the line of Product developing, Sketch, and Pattern Grading. Work to enhance design trend/ knowledge and to contribute design solutions and to create inputs for the design team. The applicant should use knowledge of costing and shoe making to develop cost efficient product. He should also demonstrate knowledge of materials, pattern making and the fitting of the footwear.
